Unlikely until MS encourages VR usage to the gaming market, not the AR market. I don't think a mod is likely, since the Forza engine isn't known to be moddable and is proprietary to the Forza team. The best option for VR would be to have the Forza team implement it directly. You should post feedback directly to the team here.
The original Oculus Rift (CV1) is still a great choice for anyone looking for a VR headset for sim racing only. The new and improved Rift S has put the original on the shelf, with a raft of new upgrades. However, most of the upgraded elements are focused on the movement and sensor side of the technology.
So my understanding is that Oculus Rift is the better option for Quest 2 than OpenVR. The latter is for other non-Oculus VR headsets. It doesn't use a lower resolution for better performance, it's just better optimised. With the Quest 2 you're going to get aliasing, that's pretty much unavoidable. I have spent literally months testing settings to get a smooth game play experience with Assetto Corsa + The Reverb G2 using SteamVR. Was getting nothing but
In this video I go through my vr settings for ACC and provide a guide on how I’ve achieved a smooth virtual reality experience using the oculus quest 2 (meta
I can't figure out how to get AC and the rift (DK1) to center the camera in the correct position. Runnig w/ rift as primary monitor, tried both direct and extended rift modes. The game launches every time with the vew facing the headless driver looking towards the rear of the car. ctrl+space which is supposed to center the view, just twitches the camera when I press it.

Honestly the G2 is the best headset on the market. Its easy to setup, easy to use and has arguably the best clarity. Don't get tempted by the Pimax stuff, they are a pain to use due to poor software support and require base stations. Anything else is a downgrade. The only bad things about the g2 are the controllers which are rather large and
First thing I did was downgrade to Windows 10. You can't keep any of your data, but my computer now runs Assetto in max settings at 160 FPS on screen and 40 FPS in VR. Still messing with settings so the Oculus Quest 2 looks good. That's the part I'm struggling with since all the advice I'm finding for it is for Assetto Corsa Competizione .
You can find it: \Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics. Edit: the setting you are looking for is called "Asynchronous Spacewarp". Still only getting 40 fps with it turned off :/. Assetto Corsa. A Screenshot of Assetto Corsa. By: Miles ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ. #15. < 1 2 >.

As a side note, the issue is compounded when I have to restart CM due to custom button boxes not working at first so I have to restart more than I would just for the issue above. 3. 7 comments. When I had a quest with oculus link, I had to close SteamVR before every single launch of the game, and have the game launch it.

Skybird Alien. Getting VD just for playing ACC with a VR headset in fake VR right now, is pointless, do not spend money for this. understand that VD is not meant for that, but to be able to operate your desktop and comouter with VR headset on. Browsing, youtubing being the obvious purposes it was designed for. GPU is a RTX3070. So not super high-end, but surely good enough to run AC on some good settings even in VR. But PP just kills it.. I run the Oculus Tray Tool 0.87 (run it as admin before you start AC) Default Super Sampling = 0. Default ASW Mode = OFF. Adaptive GPU Scaling = ON. FOV Multiplier = 0,00 and 0,00.
My Rift performance took a nosedive recently, probably after one of the recent Oculus updates. Prior to that I was getting 100+ fps in hotlapping, now it's around 50fps. I've always used Oculus software in Assetto Corsa but just tried OpenVR out of curiosity after reading your post.

The rift is only showing oculus home environment. I found a post that was similar but his solution was to use steamVR and open VR to make it work, which worked but not true Oculus Rift output and got capped at 45fps Edit: More things Ive tried per comments. Removed Documents/Assetto Corsa/ folder and relaunched AC to generate new setting files.

I have i5 9600k cpu and just got 3070 (upgraded from 2060), and the difference is huge in VR (oculus rift s). It’s not perfect, but able to race with 80fps and see stuff ( 70% of resolution and 1.8 pixels per display in oculus settings, and high, some epic settings in acc (except mirrors and vegetation, and had to limit visible cars to 10-12 To install: Unzip Natural Graphics Mod zip and then this zip to the root of your AC install folder (overwrite if required), run JSGME and activate Natural Oculus Rift Filter, Natural Weather and optionally Ben Lee + WagnumPI Clouds, then select the default PP filter (default.ini is used regardless of what you set) and set saturation to 100% in
It certainly works with VD, so im thinking there is an underlying issue. as opposed to a VD issue. please clarify. Yeah, sorry was a bit rushed. Yeah , works normal with Link, Assetto runs normal in VD with stock launcher, but when running via Content manager it goes 2D, renderer is Oculus Rift, haven't tried with openVR and i'd rather stick to
Currently Unable to load into assetto corsa vr through content manager. I just recently got an oculus quest 2 to try and set up a vr race sim. whenever I try to load in to a game I am brought up to the typical loading screen. Except the loading bars take about 5x longer to cycle than it I where to use my monitors.
